The Island site in the centre of Cambridge is jointly owned by the two colleges. James Cubitt & Partners have, during the past 39 years, developed the site in several phases to accommodate 200 student en-suite bedrooms, a large central kitchen and dining hall, a junior common room and a student library. We have just completed the last 45 roof top bedrooms (of prefabricated construction for speed of installation) and we are currently relocating the junior common room elsewhere in the college complex and converting the vacated space in to a 200 seat lecture theatre.
